URPoint Details
Once an agricultural village and in the High Street, there are still some pleasant buildings and a Georgian manor house.
The village still has a churchyard and a village cross.
The church was much restored in the 19th century and still retains some of its earlier features including the doorway to the 13th century chancel. The windows are Perpendicular as is the north arcade.
The church has a remarkable alabaster reredos with six panels showing the life of Christ.
