URPoint Details
An ancient village with a small church dating from 1510 in the Ledr valley is set in breathtaking scenery with waterfalls, forests, soaring mountain peaks and sparkling rivers.
Moel Siabod rises to over 2,860ft to the northeast and the village makes an ideal climbing base.
The 16th century church is interesting, dedicated to St Gwyddelan, a 7th century Irish missionary. The bell is said to be a saint’s bell, and there are some memorials to the Wynne family who built the church.
