Standing on the River Devon at the foot of the Ochil hills.
About a mile north between the Burn of Sorrow and the Burn of Care and up the steep Windy Pass stands the majestic Castle Campbell in a wooded glen and its setting is one of the most romantic in Scotland.
To the north west of the castle in the Ochils is King’s Seat rising to 2,111ft behind which rises Ben Cleuch to 2363ft the highest point in the range.
