URPoint Details
Doddington church (Cambridgeshire Historic Churches Trust), is interesting with its 13th century chancel and 14th century nave and tower. The 15th century windows inserted in the chancel are of great quality. The ancient oak roof is decorated with angels and there is other good timber in the rood screen. An important window by Rossetti and William Morris may be seen in the north aisle. Outside there is a particularly good group of 18th century gravestones beautifully carved and lettered.
