The Banqueting Hall is an imposing two-storey building was rebuilt using 13th century remains.
The Hall, once used by the Earls of Desmond for banqueting and entertaining. The vaulted lower chamber and tower were built during the 15th century. Its restored medieval features include an oak musicians’ gallery and a limestone hooded fireplace.
