Located in historic Irongate, the Parish Church of All Saints became a Cathedral in 1927.
The 212ft tower built in the reign of Henry VIII dominates the city skyline and is one of the tallest church towers in England, after the Boston Stump.
Inside the Cathedral you can see Bess of Hardwick's Monument, who is buried in the vault below. The Chancel Screen made in 1736, by Robert Bakewell of Melbourne, the celebrated 18th century ironsmith. Early 18th century classical nave.
