Dennington - Church of St Mary the Virgin

St Mary’s Church was built in the 14th century and is the resting place of Lord Bardolph, buried here in the 15th century. The 15th century screens complete with lofts and parapets, 14th century carved chancel windows and carved pews are some of the best in Suffolk and are represented by birds and beasts both real and mythological.
