The Church of St Mary the Virgin is surrounded by trees with limes, beeches and cypress, some dating from the 15th century.
A 500 year old wall painting of Judgement Day adorns the walls in which you can still see the figure of an archangel sounding the Last Trump.
Mounted on slender pillars is the 13th century font and on each of the eight sides of the bowl are two pointed arches.
There are also some fine monuments on the floor before the altar.
