URPoint Details
The Holy Trinity Church was built late in the 11th century. The tower is Norman and there is early English work and a Jacobean pulpit. The church was restored and added to during the 19th century.
An industrial town is now busy with motorists bound for the Dartford tunnel. The tunnel was opened in 1963 and is almost one mile long and connects Kent and Essex beneath the River Thames.
