URPoint Details
The southern end consists of a pre-glacial ravine with a car park at the commencement of a 1½m nature trail. Danes Dyke, which covers 148 acres, was declared a Local Nature Reserve in 2002 in recognition of its wildlife value and its importance to the local community. 2½ mile defensive earthwork built across Flamborough Headland during the Iron Age.
