A pleasant town where the River Orchy flows into Loch Awe and to the east and overlooking Glen Orchy and Glen Lochy rises Ben Lui at 3,708ft one of Argyll’s highest mountains.
The hotel, once an ancient inn still provides a warm welcome to anglers and tourists alike.
Opposite the hotel is a strangely-twisted stone known as Bruce’s Stone. Bruce passed thru the village in 1306 and again in 1308.
