URPoint Details
This compact village, close to the River Thame and to the south west of Aylesbury, has quite a wealth of lovely old cottages near the lower green. Tyringham House, near the church, dates from 1609. The church dates back to the 12th and 13th centuries. It was restored in 1857 by Street who also designed the stone pulpit and the strongly coloured stained glass in the east window.
