URPoint Details
A small Black Isle seaport of Easter Ross guarding the narrows of Cromarty Firth with the North Sutor headland over the water and the South Sutor headland to the east of town looking out towards the Moray Firth. The two together are known as the Sutors of Cromarty.
There are some fine 17th and 18th century houses including Albion House in Church Street and just to the south Cromarty House stands on the site of an old castle.
