Church of St Michael and All Angels is early 14th century with a late 17th bell tower. St Michael’s stands on land entirely owned by the National Trust (Croft Castle). There is an interesting monument to Sir Richard Croft (d1509) and his wife with effigies, a canopy and four figures of saints. Box-pews, and a west gallery are early 18th century and the nave and chancel are from about 1300.
