A small but lovely town on a south-facing slope of the Grampian foothills.
Some of the interesting attractions in and around the area waiting to be explored are the Stuart Crystal factory and Glenturret Distillery.
The 17th century Burgh of Regality of Drummond octagonal cross stands outside the town Hall.
Near the Old Tollbooth stands the iron stocks built in 1665 and which were in use till 1816.
