URPoint Details
A charming village with a large pond, thatched cottages and most of the houses date from the 16th century. Halfway up the street is an inn with bowed and latticed windows.
The village sits between the two valleys of the Test and the Itchen.
The flint and rubble church is Early English and the wooden nave is 13th century. The chancel arch is Early English and the pillars are Norman.
