URPoint Details
A small village situated in the north of the county with some really old and charming houses some thatched.
St Mary's church is an impressive flint building partly Decorated and partly Perpendicular in style and has a fine chancel roof.
On the 14th of June in 1930, 5040 changes were rung and from then on gradually ceased due to weakness in the tower. The church has now one of the finest rings of six bells in the county and the bells have been lovingly restored with new ropes, oiled and the bellringers are once again delighted to have the bells peal again.
