URPoint Details
Car park.
This is one of the finest examples of a box canyon in Britain, forming a spectacular mile long gorge. A viewing platform stretched across the gorge looks up towards the Falls of Measach. A canyon like gorge (the name means 'nasty' but it is anything but nasty) on the River Broom with the Falls of Measach at its head. The chasm 250ft deep in places but it is a spectacular sight and one of the falls has a sheer drop of 120ft.
