To the northeast of Chipping Norton lies this interesting village, almost entirely rebuilt in planned estate style by the famous architect Clough William Ellis with its cottages sloping down to the stream.
Beautifully set on a hill above period garden is the manor house glimpsed from the lane through imposing iron gates. The small church is situated in the park.
