URPoint Details
The village lies on the edge of the Lammermuir Hills near the rocky North Sea coast.
Just to the east is the sandy beach of Pease Bay, which lies at the edge of the steep Pease Dean valley. Spanning this is the bridge dating from 1786 and is 130ft high and 300ft long.
The pretty 14th century church has a distinctive round 16th century beacon-tower and the early 17th century mercat cross is crowned by a stone thistle.
