3800 acres of parkland, farmland, lake and woodlands. The mansion was demolished in 1938, but the fine Gothic Revival Chapel built in 1886-9 for the 7th Duke of Newcastle survives. The park includes the longest double lime avenue in Europe and a superb lake. Also Classical bridge, temples, lawned Lincoln Terrace, pleasure grounds and the stable block with restaurant, shop and information room with large scale models of park and former Chamber House. The walled garden including Apiary, Vineries and Tools exhibition are well worth a browse.
