URPoint Details
The Church of All Saints was built by the Norman knight Roger de Montgomery and there are many fine murals depicting knights and battles. The church was built 28 years after the Norman Conquest, on the site of a Saxon church, which in turn stood on pre-Christian foundations.
The fine arcade and the carved font are Norman with the rest of the church being rebuilt between the 13th and 15th century
