This award winning visitor centre includes a Museum of the Isles in a restored part of Armadale Castle and an audio-visual presentation tells the story of the Macdonald clan and the Lord of the Isles.

There are 40 acres of restored 19th century woodland gardens, nature trails and access to a Highland estate.

A countryside ranger service offers walks, talks and children's events.

There is a study centre and genealogical research facilities available.
