The building is on the site of a croft burned by Cumberland’s soldiers in 1746 and now houses the history of the Cameron Clan, its involvement in the Jacobite Risings and the subsequent resurgence of the clan.
You can also learn about the story of Achnacarry and its wildlife.
There are sections on the Queen’s Own Cameron Highlanders and the Commandos who trained here during WW II.
