URPoint Details
The 50ft high mound is all that remains of the 11th century castle north east of the church. David Livingstone trained as a missionary and explorer in the Congregational church in 1833.
Some delightful buildings and houses from 1642 line the wide High Street.
The ‘King's Head’ in High Rd dated 1697 is a lovely pub.
