URPoint Details
A delightful village with many 17th century houses and cottages built with beautiful cream-coloured Chilmark stone. The Romans quarried stone here and some has been used for Salisbury Cathedral.
The stream flowing through the village is clear and is crossed by charming stone bridges.
The Early English church has a broach spire with stone pyramids at the corners of the tower instead of a parapet.
