URPoint Details
One of the largest and loveliest of the Wealden villages, with a green, duck pond and one of the oldest picturesque pubs the 14th century Crown Inn and some spectacular old houses.
The splendid church, built of local stone, stands at the south corner of the green, approached by one of the best lych-gates in the county with the timber slab, where the coffin was rested, still in place.
