A lovely village with charming old cottages the church was rebuilt in 1851, and the delightful Elizabethan Hall.
The Church of St Leonard is mid-19th century Gothic style church with stained glass and in the north chapel are some fine monuments with alabaster effigies and black and white marble. The church has a notable range of Lucy family monuments, one by the famous Italian sculptor, Bernini.
