URPoint Details
The Church of St Peter and St Paul dates from around the time of the Norman Conquest, and is an unusually short and wide church with a very high pitched roof. The south aisle and chapel are 13th century and the north aisle is 15th century. The pulpit is rare and dates from the Cromwell period and there is a wonderful 12th century wall painting.
The bell is believed to be over 700 years old is the oldest in the county one of the oldest in the country.
