URPoint Details
Away to the west of the Newbury-Wantage road is Chaddleworth, a downland village that centres round its pond and reaches along to its 'local', the unusually named Ibex Inn.
The church blends Norman work with a 13th century tower and additions made by Street in 1851. Among many monuments are several to the Nelson family and others, in a Greek style, to the Tippings - all are of the l7th and l8th centuries.
