Last admission 1hr before closing. Admission charges; guided tours; exhibition; toilets; disabled toilet; car park; tearoom and light lunches. Disabled access to ground floor and tearooms. Special parking by prior arrangements. Please note: due to much of the site being exposed, protective clothing should be worn especially shoes suitable for the uneven terrain.
The most extensive stone age monument in the world with dwelling areas and megalithic tombs dating back some 5,000 years ago can be found at Ceide Fields. The wild flora of the bog is of international importance and has some of the most spectacular rock formations and cliffs in Ireland.
