Sitting by the River Nene where Roman Castor pottery was formerly made here.
The church built by the Norman's using Roman remains, is the only one dedicated to St Kyneburgha. The north aisle has interesting 14th century wall paintings depicting the life of St Katherine.
The richly carved Norman tower is one of the finest in England.
To the north lies the Castor Hanglands Nature Reserve.
To the northeast stands the Elizabethand Georgian Milton Hall in its park.
