URPoint Details
This small village is mentioned in the Domesday Book and has a very interesting history.
The 15th century Market Cross stands on the Green west of the church.
On the other side of the church is the Howard Hospital founded by Henry Howard who died in 1614.
It became an almshouse for ladies and visitor can still see Jacobean furniture.
