URPoint Details
A small Kintyre resort, situated on Kilbrennan Sound with a sheltered bay facing the Isle of Arran with Beinn an Tuirc rising to 1,491ft in the background.
Near the pier is the ruins of Aird Castle and on the west side of the bay is the oval fort, its walls vitrified into a glassy substance stands at Carradale Point, a narrow peninsula which is sometimes isolated at high water.
