First grand carillon in Britain, built in 1923. Recitals can be heard by 47-bell carillon at certain times. This building also houses on the ground and first floor a museum of armed forces memorabilia from the first and second world wars. From the Upper Gallery wonderful views of Charnwood can be seen.
