URPoint Details
A small village on Deeside to the east of Ballater where the two lochs of Kinord and Davan lie to the northeast.
On Culblean Hill which rises to 1,567ft is where a battle was fought in 1335 and has a curious rock-chamber called the ‘Vat’ and beyond rises Morven to 2,862ft the highest mountain in the area.
