Built in 1516 and has one of the most beautiful gatehouses with the Bridge of Sighs, but hexagonal the timber lantern was not added until 1703. Lady Margaret Beaumont founded the college in 1511. William Wordsworth, William Wilberforce and Lord Palmerston were all students here.
