St Peter's Church, (Churches Conservation Trust), is a tiny church, whose many visitors witness its very moving atmosphere of prayer and peace. The 14th century west tower and stone spire survive from the earlier church, which was demolished in 1781 and rebuilt 12th and 13th century doorways were then reset in the north and south walls. Inside is a remarkable 11th century font, carved with mermen at its corners.
