Calbourne Water Mill - Isle of Wight

Open Easter to 31 October, daily 10am-6pm. Admission charge; free car park; picnic site.

An early 17th century water mill with two pairs of mill stones, and an overshot wheel, still producing flour, also an 1890 roller plant. Bread and cakes baked daily are sold in the cafe/shop with light refreshments and own flour. Housekeeping with Grandma: A collection of early household appliances, including early washing machines. Landscaped parkland with ponds and stream, woodland and the ducks and peacocks are hand tame.
