Caister Castle Motor Museum

Children half price, under five free. Moated castle with a 100ft tower built in 1432 on the site of a fortified manor house where Sir John Falstaff was born, the hero in Shakespeare's play Henry VI. After his death in 1459 the castle became the property of the Paston family. The car collection contains the largest private collection of motor vehicles in the country from 1893 to the present time including the first real motor car in the world, the 1893 Panhard et Levassor with a full history. Also on display, the first Ford Fiesta and the last drophead Morris 1000.
