Cairndow (Carn heap or pile of stones loosely thrown together) dubh (black cairn)
Situated at the western end of Glen Kinglas on the shores of Loch Fyne and overlooked by Binnein Fhidhleir rising to 2,658ft.
To the north, the River Fyne flows into the loch from Glen Fyne to the east of which, are the impressive Eagle Falls.
