Disabled parking 70m from main car park (behind Abbey Inn) to entrance 20m from smaller car park. Main car park has loose gravel disabled visitors may be set down at entrance gate, but beware of passing cars. Access to Abbey and grounds via smooth grass custodian will advise wheelchair users of a route around the ruins which avoid steps benches provided some grass areas maybe marshy in wet weather. Carved stonework to touch in the museum. Toilets in main car park, reached via small concrete ramp. Museum has one step. Refreshments available at Abbey Inn which is accessible to wheelchair users also outside tables and chairs.
A hauntingly beautiful ruin, set in peaceful meadows in the shadow of the Hambledon Hills. It illustrates later developments of Cistercian churches, including beautiful of mosaic tiles.
