Bury St Edmunds - Moyse's Hall Museum

Built in 1180 and is claimed to be the oldest Norman house in East Anglia with stone vaulting. The museum houses and exhibits Bronze age weapons, a 13th century monks' chronicle, Anglo-Saxon remains from West Stow and many other interesting historical items.
