URPoint Details
A village situated in the sheltered Bride Valley with the River Bride flows through a narrow gap in the hills.
The walls of the houses are made of stone or rubble and the cottages are delightfully thatched. Some are over 300 years old and huddle together in the narrow, curving streets.
The 14th century Church of St Mary has some fine medieval panelling.
There are many pre-historic hill forts in the area and some of the surrounding hills.
