URPoint Details
An historic and picturesque fishing village, at the foot of sandstone cliffs, and sheltered by Ross Point to the south.
To the north beyond Ross Bay is a rocky stretch of rocky coast leading to Nestends, facing Hare Point across the Eye estuary.
Burnmouth is famous for the two treaties signed here between England and Scotland with one in 1384 and the other in 1497.
