The Church of the Holy Cross, originally Norman was restored in 1870, is a grade II Listed building. The church has a fine monument with a kneeling white marble figure to Lady Charlotte Finch, wife of the Earl of Nottingham carved in 1820 by Sir Francis Chantrey.
