Bunbury - Church of St Boniface

The Church of St Boniface dates from the 14^th century and has had many restorations. The tower was added in the 16^th century.

There are some interesting memorials one of the m is to Sir George Beeston, born in the last year of the 15^th century and lived to see the beginning of the 17^th century. He fought in France with Henry VIIIs army and at aged 89 he commanded the Dreadnought in the battle against the Spanish Armada.
