URPoint Details
Bulwick could be described as a ‘traditional village’. It has the 13th century church of St Nicholas, a Rectory and resident Rector (the earliest appointment was 1227), a pub, a thatched post office, a school and a landowning squire living at the Hall (built in 1686). The pub has two date stones: 1637 and 1657. Opposite is the market cross, the base of which is medieval.
