This historic village on the banks of the Beaulieu River is where ships for Nelson's fleet were built. The Museum reflects this shipbuilding tradition and cottage displays recreate 18th century life. The homes of a labourer, shipwright and master shipbuilder and the New Inn of 1793 are worth a visit.
