A warm and friendly welcome is assured in this family run guesthouse. The house dates from 1760 and is centrally situated overlooking the market place green and St Mary's Parish church. Built of local stone, it still retains enormous charm with original fireplaces and exposed beams.
Each of the five bedrooms are attractively decorated with pretty fabrics and pine furniture. Over the years Andrew and Sheila have gained a reputation for scrumptious food which is cooked to the highest standards using only fresh and, where possible, local ingredients.
A carefully selected range of wines to accompany your meal is available.
Middleton-in-Teesdale is an ideal base for those seeking to enjoy the delights of unspoilt countryside, quiet roads, flower filled meadows and gentle strolls through the breathtaking scenery of the North Pennines. Middleton is located north west of Barnard Castle on B6277.
